What are a few good colleges for people who want to have an athletic career?

I am in 7th grade and I want to do something with sports in my career. I really enjoy running and I do track and field as well as cross country. I might be interested in being a P.E. teacher and sports coach.

Hi Anna! I was a student in Massachusetts once upon a time and had friends who successfully went into Sports Medicine careers. Thankfully there are many schools in the New England region that offer programs aimed at sports in different ways. Two I know of firsthand would be Quinnipiac and the University of New Hampshire. I would suggest taking a look at their websites (and any other colleges that come up when you search 'sports education' or 'sports medicine' to check out the majors they offer and then get a sense of what is out there. When you find a program you like then check what the qualifications are for typical students that get accepted to that school and make sure that you work hard to get your GPA and extracurriculars in good shape so you can apply when the time comes.
