What advice do you have to start networking to be able to get ideal internship opportunities as well as first job opportunities? #Spring25

I plan on majoring in natural resources and conservation management. I can see myself working in the national parks, but my dream job is in land management. Thanks!

I would highly recommend trying to talk with teachers or professors who teach the classes in the industry you want to work in. They typically will have many connections and can help you with introductions.

You should also look up associations that are within your chosen industry. Some will have free or low-cost membership for students. They can act as a good source for recommendations and networking.
