What is the biggest challenge to starting up your own company in HVAC?
I am currently enrolled in an HVAC program, and plan on starting my own business somewhere down the line. I would like to know what some of the biggest hurdles were, whether starting up or keeping the business afloat.

Hi Diego,
That's a great question.
Even though I am not in this particular field, it sounds like you're committed to this field and would like to start your own business one day. You rock!
I do not know the ins and outs of this field to share much insider insight; however, I do feel that regardless of the industry, it is important to gain experience in this field and get your license. It is important to understand installation, repair, diagnostics, and customer service. Once you've had a few experiences under your belt, then you can create a business plan toward starting and running your own business. By asking yourself the basic questions of where, how, when, what, and why?
Best wishes on your future endeavors.

Attracting customers is a big challenge because of strong competition. It's also difficult to get good ratings and keep them high.
