What are my career options if I would like to work in a planetarium?

I currently work in a planetarium while pursuing my undergrad in Physics and I would love to continue on this path. #Spring25

It is incredible that you are already working in a planetarium during your undergrad! You have a massive head start. Planetariums are unique because they sit right at the intersection of hard science, public education, and technical theater. Your physics background gives you the scientific credibility, and your current experience is teaching you the operational realities.

Look for local astronomy clubs and the events they offer. The groups are usually hobbyists who love astronomy and astrophotography but have day jobs that may also scratch this itch for them. You'll find many are in engineering or computer science careers and it's a great way to blend your passions and find others.
