How were you able to balance your hobbies/social life while studying a career in medicine?

Im currently a student studying biology, and while I think I have a good balance right now, I know the content gets heavier as time passes. Sometimes I have to skip family events or hobbies like the gym to study. If you were able to find a balance, how did you do it?

In college, everyone faces the challenge of balancing hobbies, family, and social life. It's normal to sometimes miss out on spending time with friends and family. However, it's important to stay positive and remember that these sacrifices are for our future. Although it can be tough to let go of things we enjoy, the effort we put in now will lead to a better future. It's okay to skip events or hobbies if you're using that time to focus on your studies and future goals.

To keep a good balance between career and life, I try to make time for the gym in the morning, even if it's just for 30 minutes to an hour. It feels great to check that off my list and know I've done something for myself. Plus, keeping in mind that studying hard now will allow me to enjoy more benefits later really helps.
