How am I able to develop a plan to stay focused on schoolwork when I have ADHD and will need to adjust to new surroundings being in college?
Focus and prioritizing my schoolwork has always been difficult for me so I am worried that I may fall behind in my classes without a proper study plan.

Hello, Evan!
I used to find it tough to sit down and study in college, and sometimes I still do at work. Staying focused can be challenging. One trick I learned is to distance yourself from distractions. After a busy day of classes, it was tempting to stay in my dorm to study, but that didn't work for me. Distractions from my surroundings or my roommate made it hard to concentrate.
Our campus had a big library, so I would pack my bag, head there, and find a quiet spot away from others to dive into my studies. Removing distractions and isolating myself made a huge difference. I'd put on headphones, play some relaxing music, and get lost in my work.
I still use similar strategies today. When learning a new coding language, technique, or solving a tricky bug, I take my laptop to the dining table, the porch, or a new place. This change of scene refreshes my mind and helps me focus better.
Hope this helps!
