for non traditional students, did you find it hard to balance work or home life with fulltime school??
I am an incoming fulltime student to FIT and also will be working to pay for my apartment. I am scared about paying my bills while trying to build a career.

It’s definitely challenging to balance work, school, and life—but it’s absolutely possible. I’ve been through it myself.
The key is building a solid routine and staying organized, prioritize your tasks weekly but also make sure to carve out time for yourself too, or burnout can creep in quickly.
Build a support system even one or two friends in the same boat can make a big difference. Don’t hesitate to ask for help or share the load when you can.
Find small ways to make the process enjoyable—whether it's studying at your favorite place or celebrating little wins.
And remember, the experience you gain juggling all of this gives you a level of professional maturity that really stands out when you start your career. You’ve got this!

Hi Emily,
Adulting can certainly be challenging, and managing finances remains one of the most stressful aspects. However, it also fosters financial responsibility and independence, helping you grow in the process. There will be sacrifices along the way, but they keep you grounded and make you more mindful of your true needs versus wants.
Remember to prioritize balance—take breaks and celebrate your accomplishments. You’ve earned it!
