Jamie’s Answer

In college, I was a biology double major with several part-time jobs. I chose not to pursue a medical career because I wasn't ready for the long years of medical school and residency, and I wanted to avoid the financial strain. However, everyone is different. Many find their passion for medicine and helping others grows during their studies. If you dream of becoming a doctor, pharmacist, or nurse practitioner, you'll need to complete college and further training. Depending on your chosen field, college is likely necessary. But college can be a fantastic journey, even with the challenges of a new environment and exams. It's not just about classes and meeting requirements; it's a time to form lasting friendships and connect with amazing people.
