Hi Alexa,
"To be a veterinarian", ultimately, you will need the required courses experiences for the veterinary school that you will attend. Most schools have a "core curriculum" (i.e. all vet students take them) and most have elective courses (those that allow students to pursue their individual career interests). But these latter courses vary greatly between veterinary school. Take a look at VMCAS website for insights into various veterinary schools. Contact with your "pre-vet advisor" will offer more insights and as you get closer to applying seeking input from the admissions folks at veterinary schools you are considering applying to is important.

Hassan's response is correct for admission to veterinary school in that most veterinary schools have some variation in required courses. But, in general STEM classes are important , as they will aid you in handling great volumes of information and concepts in order to develop critical thinking e.g. chemistry, biochemistry, physics, mathematics (including calculus), biology and/or animal science courses (e.g. microbiology, nutrition, physiology). But, also you should include communication (written and spoken) courses (e.g. English writing, public speaking).

I hope this helps !

You'd want to check the specific requirements for each Vet school that you're considering. There will likely be some differences.
