I will be playing on the E-sports team in college. My major is Psychology. Is there a minor that would be helpful to me if I decide to pursue it as a career goal? #E-sports #psychology #major #minor

There is no right or wrong answer to this question but I would suggest digital marketing or public relations. As you are building a brand as an eSports individual and as part as your team. You will need to know all the digital marketing tricks with social media and what not if you want to be able to promote yourself and your brand.

Andrew recommends the following next steps:

Do you have time setting up social media accounts and managing them?
Do you have time spending money on a logo or designing one
Are you able to stream 20+ hours a week?

Hi Andrew,

There are a lot of different options should you choose to pursue a career in esports. You could be a designer, digital marketer, accountant, or manage partnership activations, to provide a few examples. I would start by thinking about what you're interested in and begin to research opportunities in that area within the esports or video game industry, or if you're unsure, a minor in business would be a good place to start. At the end of the day, esports organizations are like any other business and need to fill all the same roles.
