Is there any AAU basketball teams that are in budget and are known enough to get noticed?

Im not the wealthiest but I want to join an AAU team to put myself out there and get recognized.

According to their website, AAU membership is $22 for the year, and it is needed to participate in any events (source: https://aausports.org/membership-fees/). You can check out their club locator page (https://application.aausports.org/clublocator/) to find a club in the Bay Area. After you've generated that list, I would do some research to see what their standings are and reach out to talk to the coaches if you can, to see which one is the best fit for you.

If $22 is difficult, you may be able to talk with the coaches to see if they have scholarships in place for those who cannot afford to pay the fees.
