WHat is better matric system or O'level (Cambridge)?

I am from Pakistan and I don't know wether to choose matric system or O'levels in Pakistan. I want to choose matric system because to become a computer engineer I should choose matric. But still I am afraid of am I making the right decision because matric system is more like road learning while Cambridge is more based on critical thinking. They both are good but I need advice and suggestions.

If you're interested in Computer Science, consider these options:

1. Cambridge System (O/A Levels)
Choose this if you want to study abroad or apply to top private universities in Pakistan like LUMS, GIKI, or Habib University.

Advantages: The Cambridge CS syllabus is modern, covering Python, logic gates, and computational thinking early on. It emphasizes problem-solving, a key skill for programmers, rather than just memorizing terms.

Challenges: It's costly, and grades are converted using an "equivalence" formula when applying to local government universities, which might lower your percentage compared to FSc students.

2. Matric/FSc System
Choose this if you aim to get into top public universities like NUST, FAST-NU, or UET.

Advantages: Admission to these universities is competitive and based on your percentage. The FSc system helps you score high on local boards. Entry tests like NET or ECAT are based on FSc textbooks, giving you an advantage.

Challenges: The curriculum can be outdated, focusing on old hardware parts instead of modern coding practices.
