Can I major in pre-medical or biology, and minor in criminal justice?

I want to pursue a career as a Forensic Pathologist. (someone who preforms autopsies) Would it be okay for me to major in biology, or some sort of pre-medical program and minor in Criminal Justice? If so, should I?

Hello!

This might seem a bit unusual coming from someone in a corporate job, but my wife had a similar experience! She double-majored in biology and psychology because she was deciding between a career in forensics or becoming a forensic psychologist. She managed this while also playing a college sport. Now, she works in forensics using her biology degree. So, to answer your question, yes, you can definitely do it! It just depends on how comfortable you are with a busier schedule and more work. Good luck!
