How do I find the correct university for my major?
I want become a child welfare social worker. Many have told it 4-6 years but I am not sure. I also don't know what university I want to go to or which ones are the best for my career.

It depends if you want to stay local or attend school in another state. I would seek local colleges to save money but again if your interest is another state then you have a decision to make. Niche.com is a great site for looking into your interest major. Below are the jobs that you can have in that field:
Child care provider. ...
Parent educator. ...
Kindergarten teacher. ...
Preschool teacher. ...
Child welfare specialist. ...
Reading specialist. ...
Child life specialist. ...
Social worker.

There’s never a single “right” choice, but I’d suggest following the path you’re genuinely interested in.
