I am moving to Michigan soon with my husband who will be pursuing an MBA. I am open to studying further or working but do not wish to stay at home on the dependent visa which doesn't allow me to work.
I have a diverse background.
I am a graduate in English Literature.
Worked as a Cabin Crew for 7 years post which I have set up a Fraud Analysis and Mitigation team in an e-commerce global company.

The best advice I would give at this point since your husband is also on Student Visa (assuming) to pursue his MBA, is to enroll into a course yourself. To be able to do that, you would have to change your status to a Student yourself and then try for a work/skilled visa and start applying for jobs in the area of your interest.
Trust me, there are many women (and men) out there on dependent visas who do not wish to give their careers a break just because of the visa restrictions and they follow the student way to get a degree, learn more in the area of interests and then pursue an apt career and do their best!
Good luck to you!

Hello, if you wish to take on-line classes - check out University of the People at https://www.uopeople.edu/ They do not have many majors to choose from - only: Computer Science, Health Science, Business Administration and a newly created Master's in Education. However, on the plus side, they are very cost efficient. They boast of being "tuition free" which is true; however, there are a few nominal fees. $60 for registration, $100 per class and $17 per transfer credit. All class resources are provided in an on-line form for free. Best of luck to you.
