Every journey has bumps, but starting with small goals will help you build momentum and confidence.
As I was starting college, the idea of getting through a degree program and understanding what to focus on was overwhelming. I broke down that larger goal into smaller ones. First, I needed to understand what were the classes that I was going to be required to take to graduate and how frequently they were offered. That created my list of classes to sign up for in the first two terms. Then I looked at other barriers or requirements to finish: money and budgeting, scheduling, finding course materials etc.
There were bad days or weeks or months as I went through the journey. When those happened, I would take time to remember all the steps I'd taken so far, and then would break down the next overwhelming goal into smaller bite sizes.

Mentor - Work with people who are vested in your success, work with people who care about your future
Work-life-balance is key: Your job will always be there, the work isn't going away.
Seek out that you're interested in. If you enjoy the work and topics that you do every day, you'll stay motivated more than if you didn't find interest in it.
Celebrate small wins - Every time you do win, take time to reflect and see why you won in that instance and what you can do to keep winning.
Keep the big picture in mind - It's easy to get distracted with small things, that in the end do not matter, and will take away your capacity to focus on the bigger picture.
Set a personal goal - Work toward something, and never be complacent.
Take notes - Your brain can only hold so much information - Don't overburden it.
