Mollie’s Answer

Hi Tremaine. Being a CNA is very rewarding! I had the privileged of recruiting CNAs for over 10 years. CNAs are the grease to many healthcare organizations. One website I really like is MyCNAJobs.com. Here is a link on their site that provides some insight to CNA pay ranges:

https://www.mycnajobs.com/caregiver-cna-pay/ . I hope this helps provide some insight for you. :)

Hwal’s Answer

Tremaine,

The pay rates for a CNA can vary greatly depending on several things, such as your experience, work setting (hospital, nursing rehab center, private duty, etc.), and location (city, state, etc.). To give you some idea, pay rates for my past CNA positions ranged around $10.50-$13.50, but I've certainly seen job ads that listed higher and lower rates. Likewise, I've worked with others who were paid higher or lower than my rates.

One resource I sometimes use is https://www.glassdoor.com/index.htm, where you can search for companies and salaries. So, for example, if you're interested in applying to a certain company, you can use the website to search for reported pay rates for CNA and other related positions at that company. I hope this helps.

Good luck!

Hwal
