Can I work in the medical field as a pharmacy tech with a deferred marijuana charge on my record?

I got deferred judgement on a possession of marijuana charge when I was 18.

Absolutely, infact they could use your knowledge in cell culture and therapeutic proteins. Deferred means contemplation of dismissal that means it wont keep you from getting employment. You were 18 a young adult adult and now you are a woman not just an adult. They just need an individual with a high shool diploma who can pass the PTCB and follow the guidelines of the PTAC.
