if my strengths are being positive and my hobbies are going to the beach, going shopping,getting dressed and play with makeup, what type of careers or industries might best fit me?

Well you describe my niece perfectly. She didn’t know what she wanted to do; worked at Sephora in college. Then she decided to become a CPA, and now travels the world and buys all the makeup she wants. If you are outgoing, try sales. You could do merchandising (figuring out how to present the makeup so it sells). A purchaser buys the makeup for the store. Don’t worry about finding your career; let it find you!!!

Explore business courses at a local junior college. Take one and see if it sparks an interest.

I'd encourage you to start taking notice of your specific point of view on your strengths, hobbies and talents. How do you see the world differently from others? What do you love about the beach? How does your positivity, outgoingness and friendliness show up? Does it show up as encouragement? Have you explored being a stylist with your passion for clothing and makeup.
