Hi Dion,

I was in a similar situation when I was completing my undergraduate work. My solution was to pick a major that was interesting, but not too heavy in course work so that I could continue to explore different subject areas. I chose to major in Russian as I already spoke the language and enjoyed the history and literature. I knew this wasn't super helpful for a business career, but I planned to do an MBA later.

Economics is a great major to prepare you for business. Also consider studying areas that genuinely interest you as life is a lifelong learning session.

Best of luck,

Shane

Hey Dion,

Such a great question! I think a great first step would be going to your career services office, and discussing what options the school has, and lining that up with your passions and interests. Additionally, have you excelled in specific classes and found that you enjoy the work?

In general, I believe accounting, economics , finance , marketing are all strong majors within business that help build a great foundation!
