SUMA’s Answer

Associate's programs in automotive technology or related fields.  Many states require mechanics to obtain a state business license specifically to run a repair shop.   Certificate or diploma programs from vocational schools usually take one to two years, or less. Colleges and universities can offer associate's degree programs that include general education courses, and may take up to four years to complete.  May all your dreams come true!!!!

Chris’s Answer

Focus on automotive mechanic courses. You may want to also look into diesel mechanic courses as they are in demand.
