Hi Tori, Nice to virtually meet you. I'm not sure of your specific aspirations within college, medicine, and healthcare. Depending on your age you might want to look into United World Colleges https://www.uwc.org/ they have some excellent opportunities within the U.S. and globally. You can also look into becoming an international traveling nurse practitioner or another option might be to consider a medical career with the United Nations. You have so many options within healthcare especially since there is a shortage of nurses in the U.S.

I'm not sure what your hobbies are, but rural medicine is in a state of crisis. Not enough people want to work in rural areas and this includes jobs like nurses and doctors. If you want to be in medicine and live outside of a city you will be in demand. Do some google searches like "rural nurses demand" or "rural doctor demand" to see what other people have written about this issue.
