Harrison’s Answer

As a data analyst myself, there is an important part of my job being researching problems quantitatively. I am enthusiastic in modeling and analyzing data, so modeling and visualizing my data models are the most entertaining thing in my job. For me, it's even more entertaining to conduct some academic research that is completely not related to my job. When you realize some theoretical econometric models are useful to solve real-world issues, you will find it entertaining. Researching is a scientific procedure of exploring the world, an empirical study can be a very exciting trip of discovery.

Filipe’s Answer

As a research scientist myself I can certainly say that is to find a new breakthrough. To be able to find something new for me is almost like the sensation of finding a new continent. The daily routine is also fun, trying new things every day, mixing the different areas of science and always having a new challenge.
