Jasanpreet Kaur’s Answer

No matter in whichever field you are. If you want to advance here are the following things that you need to do:

1. Keep yourself updated related to any sort of changes or current news related to your field.
2. Search about what sort of skills are required to be ahead. Make sure you work on it by enrolling yourself in the courses, certifications or by attending seminars.
3. Join meetups and events of your field. ( Best for knowing the trend and developing your network.)
4. Look for a mentor. The one who can shadow you in your profession with his/her expertise.

In addition to the above, you need to build up some of the personality traits for "Determination and Commitment!" towards your goal.

Good Luck! Hope it helps!

Michael’s Answer

I’m in Business Development, also known as Sales, thanks for the inquiry.

Exceeding your quarterly and yearly sale’s goals will open many doors of opportunity within the company you work for and with other similar organizations in the industry.

Additionally, focusing on self-development will help position you as a better qualified candidate for promotion.

There are many sales reps earning a great living who intentionally bypass promotions because they enjoy their role They often focus on being a Master if Their Craft, a subject matter expert, and a trusted advisor. This entails focusing on learning everything they can about not only their company but competitors too They're a problem solver. It’s also beneficial to devote time to building your personal brand and a network of clients who’ll give you consistent business

Michael recommends the following next steps:

Read one business book a month.
Build a LinkedIn profile and ask your instructors or employers for a written recommendation.
