The average starting accounting salary will vary in different parts of the country. The average is around $45,000 - $50,000. Once you start working and get experience you will have the opportunity to receive merit increases and promotions. Once you start your first job, it is important that your show you are willing to learn to get experience. Show that you are dedicated to your responsibilities. As you work hard and learn from your assignments it will open the doors to a better pay.
