What colleges on the east coast offer an animation major or an animation concentration?

I live in Virginia and I want to study animation. I do not want to leave the east coast to attend college; I am currently interested in the Savannah College of Art and Design. #art #animation #3d-animation #illustration #character-design

Kutztown University: Communication Design, choose from four concentrations. Interactive design (animation), advertising, illustration, and graphic design. It’s a competitive program, but you get all four design fields in one degree, and junior/senior year you will focus more on one of your choosing. I loved it! I have a BS and BFA from there. My friends work at Facebook, Nickelodeon and more with the same degree. It is in PA

Another great institution to check out would be Virginia Commonwealth University!

Virginia Commonwealth University School of the Arts is an acclaimed, public, non-profit, accredited four-year art and design school housed within a major research university. It has an amazing Kintetic Imiaging program that has had tremendous talent and an amazing alumni network. I'd definitely give it a look if you are looking to round out your experience in animation and so much more!
