What is the most worthless degree?

Worthless being the fewest people with that degree working in their respective field, worst pay compared to cost of the degree, or the least amount of knowledge or skills learned in college applied at an actual job (unnecessary) #engineering #economics #competition

I expect that most people would answer this with degrees/jobs that are lower paying or have fewer people in that field. In my mind, I feel that the most worthless would be a degree whose learning you never get a chance to use followed by a degree that puts you in a field/job that you do not enjoy. It is very tempting to pick a field because it is well paying and has opportunity but it may lead to years of work you do not enjoy.

Please keep in mind that you can be successful in fields that have fewer jobs. Passion, commitment and talent will make a difference. You may also want to consider how much you invest in your education – especially if you are taking student loans. You should consider how much you would spend on your degree versus future earning potential. There is such a range of school costs – and many great schools that are not a the top of the price range.

According to Forbes, most are in the areas of liberal arts and visual/performing arts:

Don't let that discourage you from pursuing one of these majors however! You can be successful regardless of your degree.
