Is a Bachelors Degree in Statistics a worthwhile college major, financially?

I am wondering whether the financial expense of pursuing a degree in Statistics is a good financial decision - considering how long it may take to pay off the college education after I graduate with the degree.

Daniel’s Answer

Yes, a bachelor's degree in Statistics can definitely be a financially worthwhile major. Statistics is a versatile degree that can lead to various high-paying career paths such as Data Science, Engineering, Business Analyst, advanced academia, and more.

However, any degree can lead to financial success. If you have particular interest or talent in Statistics, then it may be a great option for you. But if you choose Statistics purely for financial reasons, then I recommend that you consider other potential degrees as well.
