Hwal’s Answer

Jessica,

If you meant nurses who trained outside of the U.S., I think I've worked with many more foreign nurses in Australia than I have here in the U.S. Let me know if you had any specific questions.

Estelle’s Answer

When I practiced in Dallas, Texas, we had quite few nurses that had come over from the Philippines at one of the hospitals. They were excellent nurses and took great care of patients. Otherwise, most of the nurses that I work with now are from the US.

Tiffany’s Answer

I have worked with Nursing Staff an Medical Staff equivalent to that grade rom all around the globe. Some were here in the USA and some were not. Being a Veteran and being in Nonprofit work now we come across many different levels of medical personnel tht have a widevarety of knowledge and training from al over the Globe.

Tiffany recommends the following next steps:

Find an Internship overseas that you could do abroad.
Simply research where you want to work and who is working there and what their background is.

I have worked with healthcare staff from Mexico, the Philipines, the Middle East (Pakistan & Dubai), Ethiopia, Cambodia & all over the Caribbean. Not all of these individuals received their training in their country of origin though.
