Hi Daniella,

Many companies advertise via linked-In. You can monitor and see what they are doing.

There are many shows/events that companies go too. You can search through Google, ask people from linked-in, check out your local Chamber of commerce and see if any events are in your area, then you can attend one and go around and look at their marketing materials.

You can search for a local marketing or tradeshow company and see if they would let you visit and they could show you what they do for many companies.

Marketing is a broad category, there isn't one application I would rely on for tips and advice, though Serious Decisions is an organization that gives great advice and highlights trends.

If you want tips specific to your areas of interest and skills, apps are handy in giving them, if you start using useful apps for marketing purposes.

Don't wait to start being a marketer, help your school, your local organizations, your parents with marketing needs. You will find the apps needed for the job give you tips on the best ways to use them, hints about things like taglines, colours and fonts, social media tips on posting, video tips, etc.
