Dear Tehyonna,

it is a great talent you have, congratulations! I would recommend to post your art works on Instagram and other creative sides to get a feedback. If you want to turn your passion into a career and a full time job to become successful, you need to perfect your skills and see if people are interested in your artworks, so you will actually get paid for what you do.

I do not know how old are you, but it might make sense to consider the following paths: get an education or professional courses/certification, work as a freelancer, become an employee.

If you feel comfortable and want to offer your work as a freelancer, there are plenty of opportunities to do this online: https://www.digitalartsonline.co.uk/features/creative-business/how-to-set-up-as-freelance-illustrator/

You can also apply to get a job for an agency or big company.

Taking professional courses and learning new software for illustrators will also help you to become better and develop your talent.

Olga recommends the following next steps:

Create a professional profile on Instagram and Facebook.
Network with professional illustrators in the industry.
Register on freelance platforms for creative professionals and offer your services to potential clients.
Learn the newest software such as Adobe Illustrator etc.

Hi! As a preface, I am NOT an artist, designer or animator but I follow all of these interests from a "consumer" perspective and follow many artists online.

I can't tell you how to break into the industry but I have heard that art school is a double edged sword. You will learn a lot and grow as an artist but the cost of attending is high. I would begin by embedding yourself in the community. On Instragarm or Twitter or Fiver or ANY social site where you can find like minded people. You don't even have to start posting any of your work; just by growing that circle of contacts and people you are getting your start in some way. Many big artists and animators I follow share their experience online and you can learn from their wisdom.
