A BSN is a Bachelors of Science in Nursing. You can only attain this degree at a university. With a BSN you are able to teach nursing. Work at a magnet status Hospital and start a masters program in nursing. A community college offers a ADN. Associate degree in nursing. You are able to sit for the boards and get your RN but you are limited in jobs. Hopes this helps
