Definitely! Any leadership camp you attend will help your college resume as it shows initiative. I recommend that you see these camps not as a resume booster, but as a learning experience. Leadership camps are created to help you discover yourself and to help you grow as an individual. When you attend these camps go in with an open mind and the mentality of a sponge. Absorb as much information as you possibly can and expand your knowledge and skills.

Take full advantage of these camps. You will meet many amazing people and I hope you can use them as a source of inspiration to further your personal growth.

I hope you have a wonderful summer full of new experiences and opportunities to learn! Best of luck!

Hi Amy!

The experience will most importantly affect you as a person, which is the primary reason that you should go. It is only secondly beneficial that a college will look favorably on you for going. You should be going mainly for you own self development and do everything that you can to take advantage of what they teach you and have to offer.
