Making your parrents happy is good but making yourself unhappy is not good.
As per my experience your parents just wants you to grow bigger, successful and healthy may be they are naming as lawyer bcoz of some past experience.
Please do what you want to do bcoz you can only achieve success if you listen to yourself and you are successful your parents will always be happy and you will be happy too.
I think the most common issue which even every one faces is to find out what they like doing the most and it's right to do that.
If you know the answers what you want to do and what's your passion please do what you want to do and if you are comfortable talking to your parents then talk to them. Anyway they are more experience than you.

Hello Salvador,
You need to make sure this is something you want to pursue. It would be best to study a subject or field that you are interested in and will be interested in for the next 30 to 40 years. Careers in any field come with an abundance of changes over time, particularly in the field of technology, so my best advice would be to find something that you are generally interested in and will never grow tired of learning about. If you are happy, I'm sure your parents will be happy and proud of you. And lastly you will find more success in a career associated with a field of study that peaks your interest. Maybe that is studying law, but be sure it's what you want to do, not just what they want you to do.

Never ever do anything because this is what your parents want to do. You will never be happy.
Find your passion and identify what you enjoy. Which subjects you are good at? If you are good at Math, go for engineering. If you enjoy Chemistry, try to become a Chemical Engineer, etc.
It is your life and you do not want to regret it because you did something to please your parents.
