How important are SAT subject tests in college admissions decisions?

I haven't prepared for these as much as I did for the actual SAT and ACT. #college-admissions #college-bound #college-prep

SAT Subject tests can really showcase your academic strengths. For example, if you're thinking about applying to college as a finance major, taking the math subject test might be a great idea. Remember, these tests are optional, and your main SAT or ACT score is more important for admissions.

Tucker’s Answer

They can help you get college credit for certain courses and improve your application, but you do not absolutely need them. I would say if you think you will do well and it will not stress you out or add too much to your plate, go for it! Otherwise, don't worry too much and focus on the main test. You got this!

Finding the right information can be challenging because it depends on the school and program. Try searching online and using your favorite AI tools. Also, talk to others in the program you’re interested in at the schools you're considering. LinkedIn can help you connect with these people. You've got this!
