As an ambitious college sophomore how do I find an internship?

I want to find one that doesn't mind someone with little experience, but everywhere I look jobs and internships are looking for a lot of experience. I really want as much experience I can get now in sophomore year so that when I apply for competitive jobs in junior and senior year I have a leg up on the competition. #lawyer #political-science

Sometimes you have to do something for free just to resume build. You might be able to help a legal aid clinic or something similar in your area of interest.

Karine’s Answer

Good morning, internship is great experience to have ! My recommendation would be not to get pushed away by the adds asking for experience, still apply and put forward your strengths and why you would be a good fit. Add that you are a fast learner and really motivated!
Submit a lot of candidatures I'm sure somebody will answer you. From my experience, if you sell yourself right the experience should not block you or the hiring person even for real jobs again it is all about how you present your strengths, your story and your ambitions ! Good luck

Thank you comment icon I appreciate your advice and the speedy manner in which you answered my question Karine, thank you very much! Mike
