It's always a good idea to not rely solely on information that is taught or given to you. You should research and learn the information for yourself. Math is very necessary in real estate. Math will assist you in providing and figuring out interest rates, market value, points, and debt to income ratios. All of these things pertain to real estate, and require doing some type of math.

Hi, great question. In my opinion math not only helps you with calculating and its not just about numbers. Math helps you with developing your critical thinking skills. Critical thinking skills helps with thinking outside the box and finding solutions.
