What is the best degree to have between Physics and Engineering Physics?

I want to get my masters in Physics, but my parents are telling me to go into Engineering Physics. They say Physics will not get me far in life, unlike Engineering Physics. I just want to study Physics, but what degree is more challenging and impressive? #engineering #science #college-major #physics

You need to be good in Physics as a subject and should be able to understand the concepts, apply them in solving problems and more importantly have a passion to study more. You have graduated the subject and want to apply your knowledge in the industry i suggest Engineering Physics for your masters course. An Engineering Physics degree prepares students to work in the private sector or in research areas. An Engineering Physics degree also prepares students to pursue an advanced degree in physics. Industries that need people with very strong scientific backgrounds recognize the Engineering Physics major.
