You will learn how to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical auto issues and provide fixes. With experience you will be able quickly diagnosis issues and provide quick estimates on time correct the solution. Thus provide your customer a reasonable estimate for correction.

This is a very exciting career if you like working on cars. Classic cars are easier to work on compared to new cars but its all fun and challenging at the same time. You will learn on how to diagnose a issue, where to look for answers, how to systematically take apart and put back together parts. You will learn about the various components that make up a car and how each one work and what function they each perform. One of the major things you will be taught is to have a logical approach to whatever you are trying to accomplish. Good luck.

If you want to be a Auto Mechanic I highly recommend you to take Auto mechanic class in high school vocational school. They start you off with all the basic and help you get a job your second year.
