How can I obtain my cosmetology license?

I would like to become a cosmetologist in the NYC area and own a chain of salons eventually branching out to other states.

I think something else to look into is small business classes at your local community college. I really wish I had learned more about how to operate a business. You wouldn't necessarily need a degree from it, but taking a few classes about how to run a business would be incredibly helpful for you in addition to just cosmetology school.
