Nirakar’s Answer
The most appropriate course to pursue would be a BTech (Bachelor of Technology)/MCA in computer science engineering or a related field, like information technology. You may also consider other degree programes like BCA (Bachelor of Computer Application).

Thank you for asking. There are three road maps you can follow to become a software developer/engineer (In addition to what Nirakar Rauta has said).
i) Pursuing a related course in a University/College (Easier, takes long).
ii) Attending a coding boot-camp, start building projects, then learn on the job (Demanding, takes short).
iii) Self-study - Online courses, YouTube, etc,. (Requires a lot of determination and discipline).
No matter which path you choose, discipline and consistency is the key. PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE

At least a bachelor's degree is required for most software engineering positions. The best degree is a bachelor's degree in software engineering, but other STEM programs like math, science, or engineering can also be helpful.
