Experience/Achievements for the aviation field?

I'm a 7th grader who hopes to pursue a career in aerospace and eventually become an astronaut. Currently I'm building my portfolio to get a scholarship that can boost my career. Looking at the backgrounds of people who eventually become astronauts, what experiences or achievements seem to matter much more than students realize, and which ones matter less?

For my freshman year, should I take AP Precalc AB or BC? If BC, should I take Multivariable Calc & Lin Alg or just AP Stats for my junior year? If I take AB, that means I will most likely take Calc BC in 11th grade, which doesn't sound too appealing. The idea is if I'm taking BC, I could directly go on to Calc BC for sophomore year, so I could have my 11th grade year easier and just take AP Stats instead. However, I'm just worried it will be too much to handle.

I'm currently a rising freshman and I've taken all previous math classes before.

How math heavy is Chemical Engineering?

I'm looking into chemical engineering, but I'm just not that sure about how math heavy it is. I'd like to be clear that I CAN do math (sort of well), I just don't like it that much.

Is a 1440 SAT not enough for a major in aerospace engineering?

I am a junior, and I just received my SAT score of 1440 on my second try for March (math: 730 and reading: 710). My first try was 1410 back in September (math: 750 and reading: 660). I have been studying for at least the past three months, every day for 1 hour, alternating between reading, grammar, and math. I have also been focusing on the skills in which I have been making mistakes. I feel that I may be leveling out on my score. I would like to get to the 1500s, but now I wonder if that is possible. My parents have offered me one more chance to take the SAT to get a 1500, and I am wondering whether that is possible and what would happen if this were my highest SAT score. I understand that this is a score many people look forward to, but for me, and especially my parents, it is not enough. This has me a bit worried, as my standing in school is not excellent either (I have received 2 Cs so far). Please let me know what you think about this matter and any changes or fixes I can make.

Hi, I am a student from crane middle school and here is me trying to get help to be a robotic engineer.

Lately I’ve just been fixing random stuff like computers and electronics whenever they break.am very interested in engineering because I love building things with Legos. I enjoy designing robots, but sometimes another project I work on doesn't really come out as good as I hoped. When a robot doesn't work the first time, I have to look at the parts again and figure out which piece is causing the problem so I can fix it. This process helps me understand how the AI and the mechanics work together. I want to learn how to make my designs more reliable and professional. What skills should I practice now to get better at designing robots that actually work the first time?

What are the hardest parts of being an aerospace engineer? How hard is it to work at Lockheed Martin as an aerospace engineer??

Hello, my name is Liam and I’m a student at Crane Middle School, I’ve always been interested in engineering and fascinated with aircraft. I like challenges and coming up with creative solutions, and by being an aerospace engineer I believe I would have to come up with new solutions to make aircraft more efficient. Even with this being the career for me I would still want to know what the highs and lows are of being an aerospace engineer. I want to make sure that the lows aren’t too much to steer me away from my dream job. I also would like to know how hard it is to get this job in the first place, I would like a job in this field at Lockheed Martin because of the pay and job benefits.

How do I become a mechanical engineer when I grow up?

I would like to know if mechanical engineering is the right fit for me .my father is a mechanic so I have always been around tools. I do tend to get sidetracked easily so I sounder if that will make it harder to be a mechanic engineer. Is there any certain characteristic I have or should be learning to have? I go to Crane middle school. I am seventh grader I’m about to finish my year and in eighth grade. I also would like to know if there’s any thing I could do to succeed in being a mechanic engineer at this age. I also would like to know if there’s any pros and cons of this job and if there’s anything I should be worried about or not worried about. Thank you for your time.

Is going to School for Mechanical Engineering or Engineering in general worth it?

My name is Eduardo and I go to Crane Middle School in Yuma, Arizona and I have been wanting to be an Engineer since I was in 2nd grade. I like to build things like Legos or like doing hardware and designing projects in school. Engineering is a fascinating career that I find interesting. I was wondering what the best and worst parts of this job would be. What kind of college degree do you need, and are there internships you can do while you're still in school? Do you need to be a math genius to be an engineer, or is being a good problem-solver more important? What is the Engineering Design Process and why do engineers expect their first version to fail? How do engineers choose which materials to use like why use titanium for a plane instead of steel. To whoever answers my question Thank You for this Information
