I applied to UCD, UCB, UC Merced, and UCSD for UCS. And for the State University, I applied to SF, SJ, LA, and Long Beach.
How do you find out what you want to major in at college?
I'm in a dilemma. I think I want to go into a STEM major, but I'm still undecided. I really love ECON and FINANCES. Science is something I really enjoy doing it seems pretty interesting to me.

I feel as though it is a very good program that could open my career to many different job opportunities and if I don't want to go through on one side, I could go through on the other which seems extremely enticing. Baristas are great, but I don’t want to go to school for 4+ years to be one. Is the job market for CS fields really that bad? I've seen so many horror stories of individuals who seem qualified but can't find a job, and if they do, the work-life balance isn't favorable. This worries me because I'm really interested/passionate, but I'm not sure whether I should invest in a more "practical" field.
Life beyond high-school
Life beyond high-school I am currently a junior in high-school and they weren't lying when they said junior year would be a tough year. It's not too, too, bad but ap biology is kicking my behind right now. On top of that I'm not sure of what I would like to do after high-school. I know that I'm going to the army reserves but for college I'm very undecided. I am strongly thinking the medical field but I'm undecided which specialty. Before I wanted to be a pediatrician, I love kids but do I want to make it a profession taking care of kids? Im not sure myself. I'm more interested in behavior and the mind(minus surgery). I was thinking psychiatry, but even then I'm not too sure. I think i may need one on one shadowing with individuals in these fields before deciding on a decision. Any advice for me will be greatly appreciated.
