What is the best way to manage finances while being in college?

My worst fear is being in a devastating amount of debt. Should I invest my money into a 529 Savings Plan? In addition, what is the best type of student loan to take out that won't plunge me into a financial crisis? Thanks!

What is the most efficient way to pay for my college without any aid and paying for rent/essentials ?

I am currently a senior in high school and did not receive a lot for loans for my federal aid. I am also going to be renting a house while I pay for school. Do I take out the loans and end up paying more later on or be risky and pay out of pocket for as long as possible? #Spring26

What are the best or most beneficial types of loans to go for as an incoming college freshmen?

I have been accepted into FAMU for class of 2030 and when I got my financial aid I was offered multiple loans. While I took the short information session they provided I’m still confused for which one would work best for me. For one background information i so far have 75% Bright Futures and no money from FASFA.

What will life look like for me as a BSN (bachelor of science in nursing) new grad?

I am a high school senior on the edge of graduating high school and going to a 4-year university to get my BSN and becoming a nurse. My family will have to take out loans given the current price of college, and we've come to terms with the fact that I will be helping them pay it back after college. After gaining a BSN comes taking the NCLEX, which will license me as a registered nurse. The job security of nursing even as a new grad has lowered my stress of student loans, but I'm stumped on what my life would and could look like right after undergrad. How quick am I able to take the NCLEX after college, and what are my chances of landing a strong nursing job as a new grad? I plan to get my doctorate in either nurse practitioner or CRNA, but I'm also clueless about how big of a gap I should take between my undergraduate and graduate education and the financial strain it would have on me on top of my past student loans. I'm praying for a bright and lucky future as a new grad, especially living in Boston, but would love a realistic answer to my timeline and expectations.

How do I stay motivated in my finance job search while dealing with depression and constant rejection?

I'm graduating in a week with a business degree from a U.S. university. Before this, I built and exited my own startup, where I was deeply involved in finance, strategy, and operations. I came to the U.S. to gain global exposure and invested everything I had from my startup into this education even taking on loans to make it work. Now, as I try to start my career in finance especially in analyst roles I’m facing constant rejection. It’s incredibly discouraging. I know I bring a unique background to the table, and I’ve worked hard to align my experience with what these roles require, but I'm still not getting offers. The financial pressure from student loans and the emotional toll of not seeing results despite my efforts has led to depression. Some days it’s hard to stay positive or even keep applying. To professionals or anyone who's been through this: How did you push through this kind of situation? What helped you stay focused and mentally healthy while trying to break into a competitive field?

How high is the risk of student debt loans when aspiring to practice alternative medicine practices, is there a certain salary I should strive for compared to the amount of student debt I am looking at ?

I am a recent graduate from UNCG majoring in biology with a minor in chemistry and math. I enjoy sewing and being outside. I lose the idea of Traditional Chinese Medicine as it seems to compass both medicinal practices and natural bounties of the Earth.

How can I get the best graduate school offer?

I am a college transfer student pursuing Mechanical Engineering. My mom remarried a few months ago, and consequently, my SAI went from $8,000 to $45,000. Thus, I received no financial aid, and I must take out student loans to completely pay for my schooling, as my mom cannot support me. I am worried about the debt, and I want to know what approach I can take to ensure I can pursue my master's degree without more loans, allowing myself to start chipping away at my student debt directly out of undergrad. How can I best accomplish this?
