I shared my most genuine response: There's just one crucial rule. Each shot must last long enough for the audience to grasp the concept. If it's too short, it won't make sense; if it's too long, it will disrupt the flow. This answer landed me the job.

Always keep in mind that it's simple to lose sight of the bigger picture while editing. Complete your cut, take a break, and maybe even let a few days pass. Then, revisit your work and watch it again. If everything flows smoothly, you've likely done an excellent job. However, if it feels too slow or too fast, it's time to reevaluate each cut based on the rule I mentioned earlier. Trust me, it works!
