Have experience with basic construction, any Electrical experience is awesome, roofing is helpful but at minimum you cannot be afraid of heights and need to be comfortable and SAFE on a roof. Take your OSHA 10 Certification, training360.com is a popular one. NABCEP$$ Certification is the best if you can do it, but not necessary. Any Electrical you do try to do under a Master Electrician who will sign off on your hours to put you on your way to Journeyman$$$
