Great question and something you'll need to reflect on personally to ultimately make the decision. And remember, this doesn't have to be a final decision! Being a teacher extends itself to more than one grade level, age group, or content area. Personally, I started in teaching kindergarten and was teaching 5th grade a few short years later.
Take time to find opportunities to gain experience with all ages. The more experiences you find will allow you to determine what feels great for you. Student teaching, field experience, and volunteering are amazing opportunities to help you figure out your path to start. The student teaching and field experiences that I had made me interact with various age groups and this was a huge help. It gave me exposure to curriculum, classroom management insight, and a feel for real-world experience.
