Nahum it’s often said that learning doesn’t stop when school is over, and there’s a good reason for that. There’s always something to learn, mainly because we are constantly discovering new information, or new technology. The world is constantly changing, and those attempting to embrace continuous learning are the ones who can best adapt to those changes. For example continuous learning is especially important in the field of information technology since computer hardware and software are always being upgraded with new features and capabilities. Learning new systems is essential as older ones become outdated and obsolete.

Someone who is always learning is more aware of the world around them, and much more conscious of the fact they don’t know everything. Knowing there’s more out there to learn and understand can be effective in your ongoing professional development.

There is already excellent information posted for you, but there is one key difference: in school, mediocre performance is tolerated, and you will be promoted to the next grade level. In a job, mediocre performance will cause you to become unemployed, and that status can influence future job options. I have seen many people take that first job and assume they would keep the job as long as they showed up. But that doesn't happen. I wish you well in your studies and in your future job performance.

School gave me a variety of knowledge but work gave me opportunities to build skill, ability, and wisdom.
