How should I progress my desired career?

How should I go about taking steps towards the career that I want later on in life? For example, I want to be a traveling nurse or a nurse of some sort, what type of things should I indulge in or paths I should take in order to succeed & make progress towards my ambition?

In preparation towards a travelling nurse or nurse, you will need to go through several steps before reaching the employment.
Education:
Research on institutions and educational requirements for nursing.
Take the education for the specified number of years and make sure you perform excellently.
Take internships and volunteers to gain experience.

License and certification: Upon completion of the degree, you will need to undergo a licensure probably to be a registered nurse.
Find other relevant certification. For your case, if you have passion in travelling nurse, you can find certification in critical care, emergency nursing, first aide programs, and also consider having a driver's license with skills in driving.

Gain experience: Create a strong foundation for your nursing and engage in practical activities that aims to sharpen your nursing skills.
Network and Mentorship; Find proffesionals in the travelling nurse group, and let them coach you on their experiences as you network working with them.
Research and prepare to work as a travelling nurse; This involves finding the relevant agencies for travels among others.
Stay upto date: This involves considering educational advancement, daily life challenges gor patients and how to deal with them technologically as the world is moving digital.

Hi Akyla,
If you want to be a nurse in the future, a great way to prepare is to start volunteering in a hospital or nursing home. Some hospitals have volunteer programs for high school students. This is a great way to see how nursing really is. You can also apply to an R.O.P. program or summer training program to become a CNA (certified nursing assistant/aide), CMA (certified medical assistant), or phlebotomist. All of these are good ways to become familiar with the nursing/medical field. If you can get a job in these roles at a hospital, you can get your foot in the door and possibly work as a nurse at that hospital when you graduate nursing school.

I became a CNA first before going to nursing school and worked at a nursing home with elderly patients. Working as a CNA helped me prepare for nursing school because I already understood a lot of the things I was learning in class. I was already familiar working with patients and seeing different diseases. Also, I worked with a lot of nurses so I was able to ask them questions which helped me prepare to be a nurse later.

Well there you r trying to get tick off ya qc level with in comfort wisdom b4 ta ivn sat ya goal id hily recommend to be own at earth and realisticly plan achivment that ya chuse for exs .ya wins be multy milioner in on year time it may be sorted but how realistic that goal is

That's a good question once you have Identified a desired career you need to research on it interms of minimum requirements for the training by the college's offering that training,search on the options in different colleges and tution fee variation,the duration of training.and job placement which includes internship.
You need to also check on the job market and future job demands for careers since other career have great demand
