I would like to go for education but I may not have the funds for college. How would i start getting scholarships?

I would visit schools you would like to attend. Then make an appointment to speak with a financial aid counselor; a counselor would advise available programs & assist in filling out & submitting forms.

Here's a tip: I'm not sure what grade level you are in, but if you are in middle or high school, feel free to check out your school's library as there may be books on scholarships you can check out, including all the types you may be eligible to apply to. Keep in mind the world of Google: simply search key phrases: "academic based scholarships," "college scholarships," "first generation college scholarships," and so on.
Currently, there are many scholarships you may be eligible for that are not only based on academics or merit, they can be based on random or important facts such as being left handed, your race/ethnicity, community service/volunteer work you have completed, or random passions you have. Also, if you already know which university you want to attend, research their website as you may be eligible to receive a scholarship for just applying to the school, or based on the GPA you apply with to get into that university.
Consider also talking to your school's guidance counselor who may have some helpful resources you can use to locate scholarships. And be wise to check the source of what you find online because some companies will present what seems to be a scholarship opportunity and it's really a scam (check your sources!).
